August 4, 2020 Primary Election
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Polling hours: 6 am – 7 pm CT
- Voting-by-mail
- The deadline to request a ballot by-mail has passed (July 22), but voters can request absentee ballots in-person at their local election office until 5 pm on Monday, August 3.
- Absentee ballots must be received by election officials by 7 pm on Election Day.
- Make sure the form on your absentee ballot envelope is completed, signed, and notarized (unless the voter is using an official health related excuse).
- If you requested your absentee ballot, but want to vote in-person, you may go to your polling place and spoil your ballot before voting provisionally.

- Please note that many polling places have been changed or consolidated. Contact your local election authority to ensure that you’re going to the right polling place: https://www.sos.mo.gov/elections/goVoteMissouri/localelectionauthority
- Voters must bring an ID with them to vote in-person (does not have to be a photo ID)
- Voters without ID can cast a provisional ballot
- In-person curbside voting is available for voters who request it
